I doubt that the programmers are keeping these in mind when they are
translating the program. I'm sure that wether it runs or not will be
luck of the draw. I'de love to see it run on a PMac with SoftWindows,
even though it'd probably be dog slow. Even though, it'd be nice to have
another computer on the render farm if it's available.
My advise is if you have a Mac with softWindows, see what others have to
say after it comes out. If you're looking to buy one (as I was before I
heard of the LW release for PC), decide what your primary applications
will be. Then see what platform will run those the best. I'm going to
buy a Pentium after the release of LW since it will be my primary
application and I don't have enough $$ to buy a SGI. Although I'd like
to have a next generation PowerMac or a Quadra, LW isn't designed for
them. I just hope Win95 (Chicago, Windows 4.0, whatever) is a decent
operating system, or that LW will run decently in an OS/2 Windows shell.
